Why hello there dear readers, it’s been a mad year so far with various things that I have been going on in my life (all good) and now it is time for me to take a metaphorical and actual break.

I’ve got my clothes nearly packed, am going to go and fill the car up with petrol ready, get my lovely beau to check the tyre pressure and I’ll be buying the sweets in ready for the journey…. oh and I’ve got my own mirror packed in case the apartment bathroom one is too high (which they usually are).

Where are we off to?  Somewhere that hopefully is a lot warmer than the UK right now.
