With some attempt at some exercise in 2009 I decided to try out skiing. Not of the snow kind, but of the dry-slope ski kind.

I was very excited about this level 1 class, and couldn’t wait to get the ski boots on.

When I entered the sports complex I have to admit a little bit of doubt began to creep in, especially in seeing a rather large number of children congregated in the entrance already kitted out and ready to go. My heart dropped a little, I thought I’d be in a class of adults.
